Gareth O'Neill has taken another win for Caldwell Cycles, this time at the Blair International Red Hand Trophy in Ballymena. He came to the line in a four man group, which included last weekend's North Down GP winner, Kevin McCambridge (Trinity Racing), David Montgomery (Spellman Dublin Port) and Paul Antoine Hagan (Banbridge CC).
McCambridge took 2nd place while Montgomery rounded out the podium while Hagan, on the Irish team for Rás Tailteann, was 4th. Luke Smith (Moynalty Cycling Club) placed 5th, best of those not in the four-man winning move.
In the A3-Junior Billy Kerr Memorial Oisin Ferrity (Island Wheelers) was victorious in a sprint from a group, with Curtis Neill (Carn Wheelers) in 2nd and Neill McKenna (Ards CC) 3rd. Darragh Doherty (VC Glendale) was 4th and Jamie Moss took 5th for the host club, Ballymena Road Club.
