Results all events Greenmount Cycling Academy Races, Co Limerick

Ella Doherty of UCD came first in the women's race yesterday after a hard sprint against Shona Keane (Greenmount CA)

Dermot Radford of Black House racing took the win at the main event in Greenmount Cycling Academy's second race day of 2022 at Limerick Racecourse.

It took the A1 and A2 riders up to half the race to finally bridge the gap to the A3s, who got a head start of half a lap. When the catch up was made, it took Radford a series of attacks before taking a 25 second advantage on the group.

He carried this advantage to the finish line, followed by Stefan Caulfield-Dreier (Spellman Dublin Port) in 2nd place and Aiden Connell (Dungarvan CC) in 3rd.

In the women's race, both Ella Doherty (UCD Cycling Club) and Shona Keane (Greenmount CA) made a breakaway midway through the race. As it came to an end, Doherty outsprinted Keane taking first place.
