JB Murphy (Team Leinster) and Sean Hahessy (Dan Morrissey-MIG-Pactimo) proved very strong on the concluding stage 4 at Kerry Group Rás Mumhan.
They took 1st and 2nd on the stage; Murphy out-sprinting the prolific Hahessy to take his biggest win on the road.
But in the chasing group behind was race leader Ben Healy of the Irish national team.
The 18-year-old, riding for Team Wiggins this year, made the three-man winning breakaway on stage 1 and the two-man winning move - with stage winner Mark Dowling (Leinster) - on yesterday's queen stage.
And that was enough to ensure he had the yellow jersey starting this morning, and kept it through the final stage.
Alex Luhrs and Daniel Bigham of Ribble Pro Cycling - with were 1st and 2nd on the opening stage - won the points and climbers' jerseys respectively.
Cian May (Leinster) was leading cat 2 rider and Healy won the young rider classification. Hahessy got the combativity award for his ride today.
