Mark Reilly takes Leinster road race title

Philip Lavery may have been first across the line at the Leinster Road Race Championships but Mark Reilly has taken the gold medal.
Lavery, riding for the H&R Block Canadian Continental team, claimed victory. But his status as an A+ rider meant he was not eligible for the title.
Instead that went to Reilly of Lucan CRC. Cian Delaney of Stamullen Road Club took silver.

He adds that medal to the four he won – including TT gold and road race silver – at the recent World Police and Fire Games in Los Angeles
In the bronze medal position today was James Davenport of Strata3-VeloRevolution.
Michelle Geoghegan (Team Jadan-Weldtite) won the women’s title from Kate Earlie (St Tiernan’s CC) and Jennifer Bates (Clondalkin CC).

And in the junior race the NRPT-Titan Containers riders took a clean sweep with1 Liam Curley, Sean Kennedy and Eoghan McGee.
