Philip Lavery and Lydia Boylan have taken victory in the Laragh Classic main events. The races were the final round of the National Road Series for both men and women.

Dubliner Philip Lavery has won the Laragh Classic this afternoon. The 27-year-old, who has been riding abroad of late, was well clear solo at the finish.

The H&R Block Pro Cycling rider took victory from Adam Stenson (Bikeworx Celbridge) and Sean Lacey (Aqua Blue Academy).

It was the final round of Cycling Ireland's National Road Series.

The women's race was won by Lydia Boylan (Team WNT). It was also the final round of the women's national series.

Boylan is in Ireland for next week's Rás na mBan. She won today's race in a sprint from a five-rider breakaway group.

And Luke Smith (NRPT-Titan Containers) took the A3-Junior race.
