Peter Hawkins (above) has taken 10th place in the prestigious Lincoln GP in the UK today, which is part of the British Premier Calendar series. The result underlines Hawkins' growing form in advance of the An Post Rás which starts next Sunday. There was a big Irish contingent in the race across the water today, with the in-form Synergy Baku rider Connor McConvey the next best of the Irish after Hawkins, in 16th place and he will also be a danger man for the upcoming Rás.
