Paddy Clarke has taken a brilliant win for his new team Liquidworx/Fitscience in the West Coast Wheelers Road Race in Loughrea today, Sunday.
The former Belgian based rider, formerly of Castlebar CC, was the best in the race after a tough and hilly 85km contest that saw well in excess of 100 riders sign on.
Clarke, having just returned from a spell of warm-weather training in Lanzarote with the new Ballina-based squad, got his and the team's season off to the best possible start, following Eddie Barry's third-place at the Ned Flanagan Memorial in Kildare last weekend.
