The Cunga Bikes duo of David O’Loughlin and Ciara Horne have experienced mixed fortunes at the World Cup in Kazakhstan today, Friday, in their respective scratch and points race events.

O’Loughlin looked very comfortable this morning in his scratch race heat, taking a very strong fourth place and easily qualifying for the final.

However, later in the day when the final got underway O’Loughlin’s result wasn’t up to that earlier standard, with the 2008 track Olympian only managing 12th in the 24-man field.
