Sean Lenehan has taken another win, this time proving
fastest of the winning breakaway at the end of the Mountnugent GP.

The Navan Road Club rider is on a roll at present as he
won the Kitty Campbell Memorial in Drogheda last weekend. The 18-year-old also
won silver at the elite National Omnium Championships in Dublin last month.

Yesterday in Co Cavan he got clear in a three-man
breakaway with David Casserly (Powerhouse Sport) and Kyle Fisher (Lakeland CC)
in what would prove to be the race-winning move.

After they escaped with about three laps remaining they
pulled out a gap that never got bigger than 30 to 40 seconds, though held on
all the way to the finish.

Best of the rest was David O’Sullivan (Powerhouse Sport) in 4th, from Rory Gallagher (Castlebar CC) and with Adrian Pretorius (Lucan CRC) completing the top six on the day.
