The Masters National Road Championships - TTs and road races - take place in Co Monaghan this weekend, with the TT titles down for the decision first and racing getting underway from 10am on Saturday.

The TT on Saturday morning is 24.4km for all categories - view the course at this link - while Sunday's road races will be run over varying distances. On Sunday morning, the Masters 40 road race - which will be 124km - begins at 10am while the Masters 50 race - over 99km - starts at 10:05am.

On Sunday afternoon, the Masters 60 and Masters 70 title races begin at 2pm, and the women's Masters 40-50 combined title races commence at 2:05pm, over this 75km course.

We've set out the TT start lists below, with start times, and we'll bring you the start lists and more information on the road races in a short while.

Emyvale Cycling Club is carrying the load, and excitement, of promoting the title races this year and it's a big responsibility. They've shared some crucial details relating to the TT title races on Saturday morning.

Race HQ is at Ardagahy Community Centre, Ardagahy, Co Monaghan, H18 WF29, with sign on opening at 8am. All bikes must be checked with the jig at race HQ and failure to have that check performed will result in riders not being allowed to start.

Similarly, if riders miss their start time, they will not get another one, meaning you should be at the start - about 250m from race HQ - five minutes before your official start time, below. Arm bands must be collected by all riders at race HQ and worn during the TT.

Warm ups are not allowed on the TT course - from Ardgahy heading away from Monaghan -once the TT has started. They must be performed off the TT route after 10.00am.

The turning point is around 300 metres further back from the main N2 roundabout than previously advised, with that change made in a bid to increase safety for all participants.

Best of luck to all at Emyvale CC and, of course, to all the riders.
