Ronan McSweeney (Blarney CC) won the final stage of the A4 Charleville Two Day on his own by over one minute today, ensuring he also claiming the overall victory after race leader Jack Conroy (Bray Wheelers) was in the chasing group behind.
Gary O'Donovan (Unattached Munster) and Conroy were 2nd and 3rd on the final road race stage today, both at 1:05. However, as McSweeney had begun the stage just 15 seconds down overall, his solo win today was enough to ensure he claimed the final yellow jersey by 50 seconds.
