McLean brings Inglis winning run to an end in Christmas 10 Mile TT

Peter McLean took victory in the Ards Cycling Club 10 Mile TT on Christmas Day, beating Ian Inglis who had won the event for the past five years

Peter McLean hit the headlines earlier in the year when he put his Covid-19 lock-down training to good use to take the Irish Everesting record back in June.

And now the Ards Cycling Club man has won the last road event of 2020 with victory in the Christmas Day 10 Mile TT that his club has been promoting for years.

Ian Inglis went into the race very much the man to beat as the former international rider had won each of the last five Christmas Day tests.

And while Inglis (Kinning Cycles) put in a very fast time, beating the event record held by Ryan Connor, that time was then lowered by McLean when he finished.
