McDunphy back in business, leads EvoPro clean sweep in Kildare

Conn McDunphy and his EvoPro Racing team mates got their season back on track at the Mondello Series in Co Kildare last night. They took a clean sweep of the podium positions. McDunphy took the victory just ahead of Liam Curley and Cian Keogh after the trio rode away on the night.

McDunphy had been set to lead the EvoPro Racing team into Rás Tailteann but he came down with Covid-19, which halted his plans. And because other riders in the team also had the virus, EvoPro co-owner Morgan Fox was forced to take the squad out of the race before it started.

While Keogh and Curley returned to action at the nationals in Kanturk last Sunday, last night's event was the first time McDunphy had raced since the Covid-19 outbreak in the team as he was forced to miss both the Rás and the nationals, two of his major goals for the year.
