Foyle CC's Maurice Sunderland kicked when it counted on the penultimate stage of the Omagh Three Day this Saturday, ensuring an exciting finale this Sunday.

With St. Tiernan's CC's Peter McColgan in yellow, and actively on the defence in stage three's testing road race, a bunch sprint was on the cards, but Sunderland had other ideas.

Attacking inside the final kilometre, he got clear to cross the line with a useful three second gap, putting him 21 seconds adrift of the leader, who finished safely in the peloton.
