Marine Lenehan (Dan Morrissey-Primór by Pissei) has claimed her first Irish title at National Criterium Championships in Banbridge, Co Down, this evening.
The European Gran Fondo Champion beat Annalise Murphy into 2nd place, after Murphy (Longcourt Hotel-NCW Wheelers) had made much of the running early in the race when she claimed the primes on offer.

But in the final, when it mattered most, it was Lenehan who had too much power, taking the title from Murphy with Aine Doherty (VC Glendale) winning the bronze medal, as well as being first junior on the night.
