The man of the moment against the clock, Marcus Christie has taken the Ulster 10 Mile Time Trial Championships in Co Derry/Londonderry this morning, Sunday.
Fresh from taking the Ulster 50 Mile TT Championships last Sunday, and in the process lowering John Heverin's national record by more than five minutes - subject to ratification - Christie on Thursday night put in a massive ride at the ‘Ernie Magwood Super 6′ at Woodgreen with 18:37.
His time this morning on the Derry Road on was a little slower at 19:09, on what was a windy morning on an open course. However, his time was still over 1 minute quicker than the best of the rest.

John Heverin was 2nd with 20.19, John madden 3rd with 20.27 and Thomas Martin 4th with a time of 20.56.
