Having taken two victories already this season, Marc Potts has made it three at the Tour of the Mournes.
On a great day for racing, and with a top quality field assembled, Potts came in at the head of the breakaway to take victory.
The Neon Velo man adds today's triumph to his wins at the PJ Logan Cup and the Waller Cup in recent weeks.
Potts took the win from junior rider Breandan Flannagan (Powerhouse Sport).
The grapevine says Flannagan has one of the very best junior engines in the country. And that prediction seems to proving accurate.
Young Flannagan's team mate Lindsay Watson rounded out the podium. Aside from the top 3, it was a good day for the juniors in the field.
Another Powerhouse Sport man Adam Ward was 6th and Conor Halvey for NRPT was 9th.
More to follow.
