MacDonald takes big win in Lacey Cup to get season underway with a bang

Danny MacDonald has taken victory in the Lacey Cup hosted by Tralee Manor West BC in Tralee, Co Kerry, today. The Burren Cycling Club rider was best in the sprint to the line from a group of about 20 riders.

In the A4 race, which was run off as a separate event today, Mark McGlynn of Killarney CC claimed the win in a sprint from a group.
