Lawless takes ‘Fixx Supercross Series’ B Race; double victory for Team WORC

 

David Lawless (Team WORC) took victory in the 'B Race' at the final round of the Fixx Coffeehouse Supercross Series in St Anne's Park, Raheny, Dublin, today.

He was only 9th after the first lap, some 25 seconds down on early leader David McCann. However, he quickly found his legs and proceeded to pick off the bodies ahead of him over the subsequent laps. He emerged victorious after seven circuits in slippy conditions, taking that win by 22 seconds from McCann.

The B event yet again served up a hotly contested race, with less than 1:30 covering the fist six riders home. It was Conor Kavanagh who filled the last place on the podium, coming home 36 seconds down on McCann.
