Lars van der Haar uses his bike to pop his shoulder back in after it dislocated in a crash

Popping a shoulder back into place after a crash in a race is not exactly a new move, with Primož Roglič (Jumbo-Visma) doing it during the Tour de France last year to finish stage stage 5 across the pavé last year.

However, until Lars van der Haar's incident this weekend, Roglič's wasn't captured by the TV cameras. Van der Haar (Baloise–Trek Lions) crashed at Superprestige Niel-Jaarmarktcross and was eventually a non-finisher.

However, he did his best to stay the course after his shoulder dislocated. His used his bike to position his shoulder so he couple pop it back in and then go on his way again.

While his day ultimately ended with an early shower, he recovered well overnight to take 2nd place on Sunday at the UCI CX World Cup in Dendermonde behind Baloise Trek Lions team mate Pim Ronhaar.
