
Many of the stars of international cyclocross will gather the weekend after next in Dublin for the latest round of the UCI Cyclocross World Cup and Irish riders will run shoulders with them.
Cycling Ireland has today announced a very large Irish national team - and individual riders - for the UCI-ranked races. While no elite men's and women's riders are picked for the Irish team, there will still be plenty of Irish riders on the start line.
The junior men's Irish team is comprised of: James Armstrong, Ryan Daly, Cameron Henry, Curtis McKee, Conor Murphy and Hugh Og Mulhearne. The two-rider Irish women's team is made up of Greta Lawless and Aoife O'Donovan
The U23 women's team - which will ride the senior event - is made up of: Doireann Killeen, Caoimhe May, Hannah McClorey, Elena Wallace and Esther Wong.
And the men's U23 Irish team includes: Michael Collins, Travis Harkness, Dean Harvey and Tadhg Killeen.
Roisín Lally and Stephanie Roche, who are both under 23, will both race in the Elite Women’s race as individual riders. And in the elite men's race Richard Barry, Darnell Moore, Ronan O’Flynn, Tim O’Regan and Paul O’Reilly will ride as individuals.
