Kevin McCambridge crowned Irish U23 TT Champion in Co Wicklow

Kevin McCambridge is Ireland's new U23 men's TT champion having won the title race in Co Wicklow earlier today.

The 19-year-old was best over the 33.79km course from Brittas in Co Wickow out the old road to Arklow and back again.

McCambridge, an U23 international rider based in France this year with Amical Velo Club Aixois, clocked a time of 41:56, which was 44 seconds faster than the next best.

George Peden (Team PB Performance) won the silver medal and Cian Keogh (Willebrord Wil Vooruit) claimed the bronze at 1:15.
