Luke Joyce (North Down CC) took a popular win at the opening round of the Kirkistown Racing Series on the Kirkistown Racing Circuit in Co Down last night.
The series is promoted by Joyce's club, North Down CC, and he showed a great turn of speed to win in a bunch sprint after the groups came together in the handicapped event, full results below.
Joyce took the honours from Ross Blayney, making it a 1-2 for North Down CC, with Karl Love of VC Glendale rounding out the podium on the night, from over 50 starters.
