Joseph Mullen and Aoife Reilly victorious at Belmont Demesne GP

Junior rider Joseph Mullen has taken another elite win; this time in the Belmont Demesne Cyclocross GP in Co Wicklow. In very muddy conditions yesterday, the teenager from Navan Road Club claimed victory by 29 seconds from Ronan O'Flynn (Orwell Wheelers). Tadhg Killeen of Kilcullen Cycling Club Murphy Geospacial, another junior, took in 3rd place at 42 seconds.

In the women's race, Aoife Reilly (Dunboyne Cycling Club) won the day, after 42 minutes of racing, by 45 seconds from Doireann Killeen (Kilcullen Cycling Club Murphy Geospacial). Leah McCarthy (Team Giant Dublin) placed 3rd at 3:24.

The men's 'B Race' was won by Finn Harris of promoting club Bray Wheelers. He was 36 seconds up on runner-up Barry Cronin (Orwell Wheelers). Emmett Dunleavy (Yeats Country Cycling Club) rounded out the podium, finishing with Cronin.
