Ireland’s Martyn Irvine has gotten off to a good start at the World Cup meeting in the velodrome in Glasgow, placing third in the first of two heats of the scratch race and qualifying for the final later.
The London Olympian has opted to ride the scratch race and individual pursuit rather than the omnium in Scotland this weekend. Caroline Ryan takes in the omnium while Eoin Mullen rides the sprint and keirin. We’ll have extended coverage through the weekend.
