Jesse Ewart (Terengganu Cycling Team) has taken his second win of the season after proving best on stage 3 at the Tour of Thailand (2.1) on Thursday.
The 29-year-old, born in Australia but having declared for Ireland a few years ago, was best from the breakaway after 156km of racing from Phitsanulok to Phetchabun.
He was saw off a nine-man breakaway, besting Thanakhan Chaiyasombat (Thailand Continental Cycling Team) and Adne van Engelen (Roojai Insurance) into 2nd and 3rd.
Ewart adds his win from today to the victory he took in his first UCI-ranked race of the season, the opening stage at Tour of Sharjah (2.2) in the United Arab Emirates back in January.
More to come.
