In-form Caimin Muldoon takes National Series win in Mayo

Caimin Muldoon has taken a fine win in Mayo, winning the feature race in the Cunga CC-promoted Davis Cup on Sunday afernoon.

The race was the fourth round of the National Road Series and attracted a strong field, with Mark Shannon (Burren CC) pushing Muldoon all the way to the line.

Michael Mullins (Longford CC) and Declan Gallagher (Westport Covey Wheelers) won the A3 and A4 races, respectively.

Amongst the prize-winners this afternoon was former world junior road race champion Mark Scanlon (North West MTB) who was the best unplaced A2.
