Huge Irish team set to ride Masters Cyclocross World Championships

A very large Irish contingent has traveled to the UK for this weekend's UCI Masters Cyclocross World Championships.

The races were due to be held today and tomorrow at Trinity Park, Ipswich, Suffolk. The first races were due off this afternoon, when the women's 55-75 years race will kick off proceedings.

That event will be followed this afternoon by the men's 65-75 years race and, finally for today, the men's 55-64 years race.

Tomorrow the women's 35-45 race will be held as well as the men's 55-64 years race, the men's 65-75 years event and the women's 55-75 race.

Some 26 Irish riders are down to start in eight different categories over the next two days.
