Hill climb time trial puts shape on Rás Dhun na nGall standings

Danish international Mikkel Frølich Honoré remains in command at Rás Dhun na nGall, having won this morning's hill climb to add to his victory in the opening race stage yesterday.

The stage 2 mountain time trial at Rás Dhun na nGall always puts shape on the general classification and this morning's test was no different.

It was won by Danish international Mikkel Frølich Honoré. Riding for Errigal CC, he had won the opening stage of the race yesterday.

He claimed victory in this morning's 4km TT from Derek Cunningham of the Bikeworx team, who was 21 seconds back.

In third place was junior rider Simon Tuomey, who was just under 31 seconds down, with another emerging rider Marc Heaney taking 4th riding in the colours the Belgian Project.

Honoré retains the yellow jersey he claimed when he won yesterday's opener by three seconds from Tuomey and put 19 seconds into the peloton.
