Tom Moriarty of O’Leary Stone Kanturk took victory on
stage 4 of the Gorey Three Day. He got to the line with Adam Mitchell of Spokes
Racing Team and beat him in the sprint.

Eight riders had broken away from the bunch behind in the
pursuit of the leaders; filling places 3rd to 10th on the stage.

But race leader Oscar Onley (Spokes Racing Team) was in
the bunch, some 57 seconds down on the stage winner.

And while the time gained by Moriarty saw him climb the
general classification to 4th place, he was still 19 seconds off Onley in
yellow.
