The Gorey Three Day is back on the domestic calendar this year - and you can enter right here - after being cancelled in 2025 due to low numbers. This time around four action-packed stages are on offer in what has always been a fantastic fixture of the Easter Bank Holiday Weekend.
While once the event began in Dublin and raced down to Gorey, and back again, over the three days of action, the event has been based solely in Co Wexford - headquartered in Gorey - for the last few years.
And that's the way it stays for this year, when the riders will take in a total of 276km over the four stages, the longest of which is the 100km final stage on Easter Monday, mostly run on the Eddie Tobin circuit but finishing just outside Craanford.
This event is a huge part of the Irish road race culture and many riders have made their names here before going into much bigger events as they get old. There's also a few comeback riders lurking in the field, waiting to pounced, alongside juniors looking to rip the legs off everyone.
If you are thinking of riding this race this year, get in now and get you entry in and paid and aim towards it. Don't hang around, get in now.
The stages are as follows:
- Sage 1, Saturday, April 4th | Craanford–Camolin–Gorey–Carnew Loop (99.8km). Start starts at 2pm and features four laps of the circuit, some 900m of elevation gain, with the finish on the Carnew KOH point
- Stage 2, Sunday, April 5th | Individual Time Trial (5.7km) on Old N11, first rider off at 9:01am, with 42m of elevation gain and a finish just outside Gorey
- Stage 3, Sunday, April 5th | Camolin Road Race (70.7km) | Roll-out 2pm for four laps of a circuit finishing in Camolin
- Stage 4, Monday, April 6th | Craanford Road Race (100km) | Eddie Tobin Circuit with roll-out at 10am, with the field racing off the circuit after the laps and back in the direction of Gorey, to finish just outside Craanford
The event is open to all juniors, C2s, C3s and all in the Masters categories - 40s, 50s and 60s. A women's race - three stages over two days - is also in development so stay tuned.
“The Gorey has always been about opportunity – for young riders to test themselves, for experienced riders to measure themselves, and for clubs to race a true stage race,” said the organisers.
“By opening the door to C2, C3, juniors and masters we’re protecting that spirit and making sure we see a full, competitive field on the roads again at Easter 2026.”
