George Peden (Team Performance PB) has clearly maintained his form from last week's National TT Championships, where he took the elite men's silver medal. He has proved fastest in the latest round of the Ernie Magwood Super 6 Series.

Last night, Thursday, on the Frosses 10 mile TT course from Ballymena, Co Antrim, Peden stopped the clock at 18:15 to win by 29 seconds. That time comes exactly one week after getting to within six seconds of Ryan Mullen (Red Bull-Bora-hansgrohe) at the Nationals in Co Westmeath.

Ian Inglis (Kinning Cycles) was 2nd last night, in a time of 18:44, with Lindsay Watson (Powerhouse Sport) completing the men's podium after he recorded a time of 19:59 in the Island Wheelers CC promotion.

In the women's race, Eileen Burns (Ballymena RC) was quickest again, with a time of 22:00. She was 1:03 faster than runner-up Hazel Smyth (Kinning Cycles), with Karen Hull (Phoenix CC) in 3rd in a time of 24:39.
