Gareth O'Neill (Athlete Nutrition Coach HD) has taken his latest win of the season from a very strong breakaway group on a scorching day for racing at the Moynalty GP in Co Meath today.

O'Neill revealed his mid-season form with a fantastic performance last month to the National Road Championships in taking 7th in the men's road race at the pointy end racing against pro riders.

He had already won the Coombes Connor and the Carn Classic this year, as well as taking no few than four runner-up placings, including in the Shay Elliott Classic, before his victory in Co Meath today.

In the Moynalty Cycling Club-promoted event he saw off the challenge of Daire Feeley (Burren CC) and Ronan O'Connor (Team Skyline) after those three had pulled clear of the others in the breakaway group.

More to come.
