Fyffe and Kinning carve up the spoils at 'Antrim Super 7'

Having enjoyed a strong season to date and already taken a win during the campaign, Angus Fyffe took his tally to two for 2015 when he came home the winner at the Seat Super 7 Series last night.

The Omagh Wheelers won, who added victory in the Donegal Bay Kermesse in April to a number of strong rides in recent months, was first home on Antrim ahead of Glenn Kinning.

The duo spent a large portion of the race in a two-man break off the front of the peloton, carving up the primes and surviving to the finish.

In the gallop to the line Fyffe was too quick for Kinning, who rides in the colours of his own Kinning Cycles.

The leaders survived a late scare as the group behind closed in on them.

But while emerging junior rider Jake Gray (NRPT-Magnet.ie) shot from the pack to win the charge to the line for 3rd, the late surge was not enough to see the pair out front come unstuck.
