Shane Power proved best of the four-man break that animated today's feature event in the Eddie Tobin Memorial in Enniscorthy, Co Wexford.
The Waterford Racing Club man got the better of close friend Stephen Murray (Strata3-VeloRevolution) with Sean Yelverton (Mego Raw Cycles) and Eoin O'Connell (Killarney CC) filling 3rd and 4th.
That quartet came to the line at the end of 130 kilometres of racing with a handsome advantage of over three minutes on the main bunch which was led in by Lorcan Davoust of South Dublin CC.
The A3 race gave great cause for the host club to celebrate as Paul Bolger took the honours after edging the three-up sprint from Shane Kelly (Rossbury Racing) and Ronan Grimes (Orwell Wheelers), respectively.
The A4 event was decided in a bunch sprint, with Pat Ryan (Tipperary Wheelers) getting the verdict.
Emily Birchall (NRPT-Magnet.ie) took a marvellous win in the women's race after emerging best from the seven-strong break.
