
Cameron McIntyre took a marvellous victory in the Bobby Crilly Memorial, crossing the line a few seconds clear of runner-up David McIntyre of Maryland Wheelers.
Top junior Cameron McIntyre opened his account for the season when he won the Bobby Crilly Classic yesterday, promoted by Phoenix CC.
The NRPT-Magnet.ie man got the better of David McIntyre (Maryland Wheelers) and Mark Heaney (NRPT-Magnet.ie) at the end of the 100-kilometre event.
The riders covered six laps of a 17-kilometre circuit while the A4s completed three laps.
Brian Mitchell (Harps CC) was the winner there while Claire O’Neill (Square Wheelers) was the first woman home in their separate race.
NRPT-Magnet.ie man McIntyre will head to Germany next weekend for the Trofeo Karlsberg with the Irish national junior team.
