Dean Harvey has claimed victory in the men's race at 'Round 3' of the Cyclocross National Series in Co Louth today. The Spellman Dublin Port rider, who also won the opening two rounds, was best at McCrystal Park in difficult conditions.

Harvey claimed victory by 2:16 from Darnell Moore (Caldwell Cycles), with Kevin McCambridge (Trinity Racing) rounding out the podium on the day at one lap.

In the women's race, in the absence of Aine Doherty (VC Glendale) who won the first two rounds, national champion Maria Larkin (Donkey Label p/b FK Law) won. She was 56 seconds up on Stephanie Roche (Scott Bright Motors) with Caoimhe May (Orwell Wheelers) in 3rd at 1:50.
