Mark Dowling (All human-VeloRevolution) won the main event at the Collins Christle Memorial in Co Meath today. Dowling came to the line in a three-man group and got the better of runner-up Gareth O'Neill (Caldwell Cycles).

Paul Kennedy, the Burren CC rider who was 2nd in Saturday night's Beecchmount Cup, also in the Kilmessan, was 3rd today in what was a tight finish between the three breakaway men.

In the women's race, Ellen Murray of TC Racing putting in a fantastic finishing effort on the drag to the line to emerge the clear winner in the sprint from the six-rider lead group.

Murray took the win comfortably from Aishling Barry (Dunboyne CC), Fiona Guihen (Unattached Leinster), Hannah Gibney (UCD Cycling Club), Eva Donavan (Black House Racing) and Aoife Mooney of promoting outfit Navan Road Club.
