Four-race Cyclocross National Series confirmed, Belfast up first

The Irish cyclocross season will be a busy one this year, with the four-round Cyclocross National Series one of the major features and getting underway within weeks.

There is not much respite after the road season for those riders who also compete on mud over the winter as the opening round of the series will take place in Belfast on Sunday, October 6th.

You can enter by following this link, while venues and dates of the other three rounds that make up the 2024-25 series have also been confirmed so riders can now plan their season.

The details of the four rounds are:

  • Round 1 | Sunday October 6th, Belfast, Co Antrim, VC Glendale
  • Round 2 | Sunday October 27th, Clonbur, Co Galway, Western Lakes CC
  • Round 3 | Sunday November 24th, Thurles, Co Tipperary, Upperchurch Drombane CC
  • Round 4 | Sunday January 5th, Jenkinstown, Co Louth, Bellurgan Wheelers

As well as the National Series, the Verge Cyclocross will be a UCI-ranked race while the UCI Cyclocross World Cup is also returning to Dublin this series.

The National Cyclocross Championships will also be the major fixture towards the end of the season, with racing across the country every weekend of the campaign.
