Five-minute video of An Post-CRC's day at the first Belgian pro classic of the year

Conor Dunne, above, was one of five Irish men in the Kuurne-Brussel-Kuurne pro semi-classic in Belgium yesterday.

His and team mate Sean Downey's day is captured in the clip below.

Downey finished the race in the 70-rider peloton that remained after 193km, coming over the line in 30th place.

Dunne had been enjoying a good ride until he got taken out in a crash just before the Kwaremont climb.

While he was to chase and get back on, he never saw the front of the race again.

And he was later in a group that was stopped by the race organisers as it was about to start one of the finishing circuits.

One of An Post-Chainreaction's Belgian riders, Xandro Meurisse, managed to infiltrate the early breakaway that spent most of the race up the road.
