Eoin Morton of UCD CC on his way to victory today in north Co Dublin. It was a successful day in Balbriggan for the UCD squad with Morton and Greg Swinand taking a one two in the Ben McKenna Memorial and Risteard O' Hannreachain winning the A4 race.

Eoin Morton led home his teammate Greg Swinand at the end of the Ben McKenna Memorial in Balbriggan today after the UCD duo had ridden clear of the rest of the field in the final two laps.
Morton and Swinand originally went clear with Javan Nulty earlier on in the race but the DID Dunboyne rider was dropped on the penultimate ascent of Knockbrack HIll.
Despite a strong chase by a four man group behind on the last lap, which also included UCD's Anthony Walsh at one point, the duo had plenty of time to negotiate the victory salute, with Morton getting the nod over veteran and recent Newbridge Grand Prix winner Swinand.

Fraser Duncan (Dave Kane Northern CC) continued his good start to the season by outsprinting DID teammates Mark Dowling and Nulty for third, with Nulty taking the Patrick Rowe memorial trophy for most aggressive rider of the day.
