Dylan Foley is the new race leader of the Charleville Two Day A2-A3 race after he won this morning's time trial by 15 seconds.
The defending champion, who will represent Ireland in the World Junior road race Championships in Florence at the end of the month, had 15 seconds to spare over Sean Hahessy (Iverk Produce Carrick Wheelers), with George Doyle (Tralee BC Manor West) at 19 seconds.
Foley's win today keeps the yellow jersey within the Nicolas Roche Performance Team, after his team mate Danny Bruton won the first stage yesterday in a bunch sprint.
In the A4 race, Dave Williams of West Cork won the opening stage yesterday. Unlike the A2-A3 race, the A4s had their time trial stage last evening.
That was won by Patrick O'Connor from Killorglin. who leads overall by three seconds from Orwell's Brian Doyle, with Jerry McCarthy of Manor West Tralee on equal time with Doyle going into this afternoon's final road stage.
