South Dublin Cycling Club is to run the Dublin Road Race Championships in three weeks time.

The championships are new for Dublin, though many other counties around the country have held their own title races for years.

Set to run on Saturday, September 21st, there will be separate races for all categories, with the unique format set to be run on the Corkagh Park circuit.

That dedicated cycling course was a pet project of the great Mick Lawless and the county championships will be in memory of him.
