Paddy Clarke adds to his list of wins this season with a clearly pleasing victory at the Andy Walsh Memorial Criterium in Ballina, Co Mayo, last night, Saturday. The race was sponsored by Liquidworx-Fitscience, which also backs Clarke's squad. He was part of a small but hardworking scratch group that mopped up those riders who set out first, going through the field and coming out at the head of affairs in a strongman's move that fought it out for the win. He beat off another local strongman in the shape of Castlebar's David Brennan to take the victory, with Darragh McCarter making worthwhile his trip from Omagh to round out the podium (Photo: James Wright Photography)
