
Darnell Moore (Caldwell Cycles) is no stranger to winning national titles - on road and mud - and this evening in Banbridge, Co Down, he won the National Criterium Championships.
Moore - a former U23 Irish road race champion, former national hill climb champion and elite cyclocross champion - went into the final lap this evening with a gap over a group of fast chasers.

He put his head down, making it all the way to claim another Irish crown as the strongest of the men in the group just behind were breathing down his neck in the Banbridge Cycling Club promotion.
John Buller of host club, Banbridge CC, took the silver medal, with Luke Smith of Moynalty CC claiming the bronze.
