There may have been new winners at 'Round 4' of the Cycling Ireland National Road Series in Cong, Co Mayo, yesterday but the same riders remain at the top of the overall standings in the series, though the gaps have now become a little closer.

Matt Teggart (WiV SunGod) won the first three rounds of the men's series and while he was absent yesterday, as he was racing in France, he still tops the men's overall and was expected to try and defend that lead and win the series overall this year.

Teggart is on top with 120 points, with Conor Murnane (UCD Cycling Club) 2nd on 72 points and Luke Smith (Moynalty Cycling Club) next on 71. With double points for the final round of the series, it's all to play for even though Teggart is in great form and already has a big lead.
