Ciaran Kelly (above) has demolished the opposition in this morning's time trial at the Gorey Three Day, winning the test by a margin of 30 seconds. But Olympian and off road legend Robin Seymour was second and takes the yellow jersey. Seymour was one of 11 riders in a breakaway on yesterday's opening stage when a serious road traffic collision unrelated to the race forced the abandonment of the stage some 3kms from the finish. The riders in the escape were credited with 52 seconds on two chasing riders and 1:02 on the rest of the field in the general classification standings yesterday evening though no stage result was issued. The riders now face a road stage this afternoon and the concluding road stage tomorrow.
