Ciarán Byrne tops podium at Ballinrobe Racecourse Cyclocross

Ciarán Byrne (VeloCity MTB) has taken victory in the latest round of the Connacht Cyclocross League in Co Mayo.

Byrne was best in the 'A Race' at Ballinrobe Racecourse on Sunday. He led the way from runner-up Nathan Kurensky (TWC Maaslandster), with Anthony Hammond (Castlebar CC) rounding out the podium.

In the 'B Race', Keith Raymond (Bottecchia Racing Club) claimed victory from Shaun Barnicle of promoting club Western Lakes CC, with Gary Collins (Cunga CC) placing 3rd.
