Charles Prendergast has continued his good run of form, claiming victory at the hard fought Wesportif Criterium in Westport in Co Mayo last evening, Saturday.

In a race of 45 mins +3 laps on  a tight and short course in the picturesque town, Prendergast beat into the minor positions two men who have had very good seasons to date in the shape of Barry Meade of Planet-Tri and Paddy Clarke of Castlebar CC.

Prendergast has been on a good run of late, taking the win in the T Bourke Mid Summer GP in Westport three weeks ago and also winning the Mayo County Road Race Championships midweek.
