Castlebar’s Gareth McCormack takes Éire Óg CC’s Mooney Trophy in Sligo

Gareth McCormack has taken victory in the Mooney Trophy promoted by Éire Óg CC in Sligo. The Castlebar CC man took the win from Jason Prendergast (Cunga CC) and Rory Devlin (North Pole CC).

The race was run yesterday, Saturday, at Carraroe over 13 laps of 6km circuit with the finish at the top of the Green Road climb and was open to A2/A3/A4 riders.
